If you quote someone and what they wrote contains spelling or grammar mistakes, do you correct them?

I wanted to quote a recipe in my last hub and it contained some spelling mistakes which got me thinking about whether it was right to correct them or not. On one hand correcting them would be adapting the original source but on the other leaving them may look as though the mistakes where my own and effect the hub quality.

Thank you. That is a good point, I had not thought of that.
