Why do people post so many pointless questions a day?

I look through questions to see if there is anyone I can help, or any useful topic... And certain Hubbers post ridiculous amounts of pointless questions... Some are rephrased, but essentially the same question... I ask questions that I want to know the answers to, not just for stats... Are these Hubbers trying to direct traffic to their pages, or trying to get better accolades, or just trying to be irritating to those genuinely looking for information? Or is it all 3....

I agree... Iv seen questions like how do you make a call from an iPhone... Then repeated for every model of phone that's out. Seriously a waste of people's time!

Ah... Well I'm sure that's how it's meant to work... Personally I refuse to go onto someone's profile if I see lots of questions in a row...

No, this one is one of, I think 5 or 6 completely different questions Iv asked since Iv been on here. Plus the fact I reply to those who answer and spent some time elaborating on the question in the first place....

    LOL

Lol I don't " worry" about it. I worry about very little. But these people ask the same question 5 or 10 times, just rephrased. It's very obvious and makes them look quite dumb.
