   Nope.  I never have and don't intend to either.  I do wish to earn money, and I definitely DO earn money here, but I just go off of what sorts of things have been successful already, and then I otherwise just publish what I'm interested in at the moment.

   Not really, no.  I think I'd mess up my writing if I were to try and work around keywords.   I wonder if I'd even be able to get the hang of it anyways.

   To an extent, the process i normally go through is:
   
   1. Think about what I want to write at the moment
   2. Think of a good, punchy title
   3. Take the key parts of that title and run them through keyword checking
   4. Tweak the title accordingly
   5. Write
   
   I don't spend more than about 5-10 minutes on keyword research, but even that can be enough to ensure that you're targetting the best ones.
   
   After all, if you're taking the time to create great content, it makes sense to give it the best chance of being found.

   Nopes ,, I do not do the same too. It affects the writing style. But when you talk about micro niche sites , then of course , you got to do that.

   Depends on what I'm going to write. More often than not, I will check out potential keywords for the subject I have in mind, and this keyword list is saved at the top of my research notes. Every now and then a keyword will pop up that suggests another angle to the topic that I had not originally considered. But for me keywords are just another tool that I use without letting them use me.

   Sometimes I check them out before choosing  title and subject.  It likely would improve my number of views to pay more attention to keyword popularity.

    I have never tried so far - neither for hubpages here or for my websites and blogs. I only write few things that cross my mind on my blogs, my hubs are mostly answers to questions posted by other hubbers while my websites follow specific syllabus for accounting.
    However, I think I will have to give it a try as I find so many people talking about it now. As Paul Maplesden just said, it does make sense to try making your writings more visible on search engines and be read by a bigger audience. That is the purpose of writing after all.
    So, I'll have to learn how to do that.
