What is your Hubber Score ( the number next to your picture on your profile if you aren't sure what I mean?) Mine happens to be 100 right at the moment, but could change at any second so I am freezing that in time and wondering what everyone else's is?
sort by best latest
Wow, great comment. Thanks for answering.
Who knows for sure? I don't. I can tell you I'm very active on Hub Pages. Have 157 hubs in 1 year. I comment on hubs regularly, ask questions at least monthly, and I have a lot of followers. 92 is good. Mine fluctuates but always 95 - 100 for awhile
It's a good idea to freeze the moment when it's high because mine has already dropped to 97 overnight...who knows why!
Participation is the name of the game so if you are active, writing AND commenting, you're in like Flynn!
Welcome to Hub Pages. My suggestion is to have patience, follow more people, and keep writing hubs and leaving comments on hubs. The numbers go up the more you participate on Hub Pages. I'm your first follower, but you need more! Keep writing!
Mine was a 0 too. By getting some hubs published help. And b leaving comments and answering questions and doing hup hopping-this has helped me
Hi, I only started a few days ago as well and my score has hit zero today too. I know what you mean about failing a test., Good thing is at least there is lots of good advice here so hopefully we will be climbing up there soon.
Follow some people who share the same interests as you. I am sure some of them will follow you back
welcome - I'm following you too. Keep writing and participating your score WILL increase.
You need more hubs. Right now you are at 10 so keep writing, commenting, and following hubbers with good scores and participation and you can become a Hub Pages star!
Where have you been? I have missed your hubs!
I don't know if it is a bug or something else! Really you have only days membership but already 4 hubs and a badge for commenting! I think you just have to wait ... otherwise, no ideas on the issue!
I am the same with a big fat zero and I don't know why :) I just began hupages on Feb. 8th so maybe that's why?
Yes, and some days it seems like there's no rhyme or reason to it, although to the Hub Pages powers that be, there must be! 93 is great...congrats!
I didn't even know that a 75 is needed for a dofollow link. Thanks for the info, and the congrats.
Thank you, but I must say back to you, well done on editing a lot of your hubs! That's great. I have yet to do a group edit of all my hubs from the past year, but I need to.
Keep writing and commenting, etc. It will go up...just hang in there.
You are still pretty new to hub Pages, but you've written a lot in 5 weeks...keep writing hubs and commenting on others and follow people. It will go up!
healthyfitness, you must be doing something right because today, 7 days from this original comment, you have already reached 75!
I don't know for sure. My suggestion would be to write more hubs as you have about 1/3 of that I have and I think the more you publish, the more active you are in terms of writing, the higher it goes. I try to publish about 3 each week. Good luck.
well, it must be working because only 5 days after you wrote this comment, your score has gone up 6 points to an 87...keep writing. :0)
Those are still good scores though. Congratulations!
Those are good scores. Congratulations!
It's at 16 now. Keep writing hubs, comment on other people's hubs and ask questions. All of that helps.
Yes it's helping indeed !! Happy with the progress now :)Thanks Karen!
Today you're on 50, swati17, so you must be doing something right! That's a huge difference from the 14 you mentioned a few days ago. :)
LongTimeMother !!! Yeah it's 73 now !! Just love it here !!!!
Now its 77 way to go
Sorry, it was joke. Wish I could have frozen it at 100 forever. I dropped down to 97 for 1 week but back up to 100 today!
You're at 87 today...keep climbing!
I'm looking at it right now and it's already gone up to 79. It helps to comment on other people's hubs, get more followers, and follow others as well.
Thank you very much. It took awhile to get there, but once I did, it fluctuates only down to about 96 and then back up again.
Keep at it and it will keep going up.
Keep writing and commenting on other people's hubs and your score will keep going up. I think it also goes up if you get a lot of followers because then you get more hub views.
Just keep writing more hubs, commenting, following people you are interested in, etc. It will rise as you stay involved. Scores in the 80's aren't bad at all!
Keep writing and participating here at Hub Pages. Your number will go up. You are at 92 now and that's great.
Sorry, I don't know but congratulations on the great score!!! I do know they updated hub Pages about 1 month ago...maybe those things were part of the update?
Well, you're improving and that's great. Keep up the good work!
As long as you keep writing and participating on Hub Pages, you will move up. Welcome.
You too! Keep participating and you will get there!
Not really sure. I have been on here for a year and am quite active and am publishing 2 - 3 times per week now so I am sure all that helps. Good luck. It's great here.
Yes, the more you write hubs, comment, and follow people, the higher the score goes. You have hubs numbering in the forties...keep at it and you can reach your goal!
Maggie, 9 days later you are up to a score of 91...yay! The more you participate by writing hubs, following others and leaving comments, the higher your score will go. Good job. 91 for a newbie is great!
Well Hub Pages is all about writing and participating on the site. Once you have written more hubs, and if you care to peruse other's profiles and hubs and leave comments, you will see your score go up. Welcome to Hub Pages.
I'm experiencing the same problem! My score keeps dropping even though I'm participating. I haven't written new hubs yet, but on my old Hubpages profile my score went up before I even did that.
I'm pretty new here, as well. I dropped down to a 0 last week, and logged in today for the first time since. My score was at a 66. Now, it shows as a 68, but I guess it's always subject to change.
From my experience (I'm 2 1/2 weeks old) it largely depends on your activity in the community. I hit 0 just like you within days of joining even though I had 10 hubs. I began to answer questions, write comments and vote on hubs and it quickly rose.
Active involvement in community + quality hubs that gets good traffic = above 80 score (eventually). Keep in mind, HP needs a few days to "compute" things. :)
I have only just seen this and you have gone from a score of 0 to 75 in 11 days. That's fantastic! I can't tell you exactly what it is based on, but I do know that the more hubs you write, comments you leave and the more your score climbs!
You're at 91 and that is good. The more you write, the more you may attract followers and I do think people tend to follow people with the higher scores because they think they must be doing something right!
I just went to look up how many hubs you have and it says you have been removed from Hub Pages. Did you realize that?
You only have 4 hubs. Keep writing more and comment on other's work and ask questions, etc. It will go up. You are at 83 now, there's some progress. Write, write, write!
Well, even though you are a newbie, you are doing very well. Welcome to Hub Pages and keep up the good work.
