How can I insert a complete webpage as an image in a Hub?
Many web tutorials such as Adwords Keyword Tool tutorials have images of the complete webpage as it would appear on the screen, showing step-by-step images of what you would be seeing as you go through the process.
I vaguely remember doing this somewhere online a while back, Claudia. What I had to do was print the page, scan it and save it to my PC as a photo. It was then able to be uploaded as any other photo. Thinking about it now, though, I'm not sure if copyright issues may exist...???
Thanks for your answer Gordon. Lets see what others say, there must be a more technologically advanced way to do it!!! We will learn together
You just need to take a screen shot of whatever web page it is you want. On a Mac, you take screenshots by holding shift + command + 3. The screenshot will be saved to your desktop as a photo and labeled as the current date.
PCs have a Print Screen key you need to press. I think it is labeled PrtScn. Then you will need to paste the image your computer has taken into a photo program - Photoshop or Windows Paint, ie. After you have done that, you can save the image as a jpg.
Then you just put the photo into HPs photo capsule on whatever hub you are editing. - Ginger
Fantastic! This is so very useful. I'll try it at once. Thanks you.
Thanks to ExpectGreatThings’s answer I have discovered now that Microsoft Power Point has an Insert Screenshot tool as well. Once you have the webpage open, you go to Power Point> Insert> Screenshot> Screen clipping and then you go to the webpage, select the area you want included in the shot and it automatically pastes it in Power Point. After that, you just need to save it as picture (right click on the image) and treat it as a regular picture from there on.

I don't see where else to place this issue--I don't think it's exactly a "bug," but more of a change that was made???At any rate, the problem is, it used to be that when you clicked on any photo in any hub, it would open the photo alone in a new temporary window without taking you away...

Been fixing my lens/hubs and this morning I worked on the story about my Dirty Family Secret.Everything looks okay (though I'm concerned how to deal with that duel module) except for one photo in the slideshow. On Squidoo, this photo looked just fine. Hub Pages blow it up huge as possible and of...

Maybe I'm searching in the wrong area, but I can't find an answer for a problem I'm having. I'd like to highlight the word "Pattern" in a text module and insert a pdf image of the pattern piece. Is that possible on HP or do I have to use the photo module and show the pattern...

Hi,I have been a member of Hubpages for a while. I have a bunch of hubs, published on various accounts, and since the Google slap, have noticed that my hub views, which weren't all that great before, have now dropped to almost nothing. On average, I seem to be getting about 1/2 a view a day per...
