How do you feel about a hubber making reference to their hubs in answers to questions?

Everyone wants people to read their hubs, but is there a point that you think this can be excessive?

If you provide a link and it has to do with the subject, there is a good chance I will click on it. I am a lot less likely to go to your profile and try to find the hub. It may border on self promotion, but if the link is relevant, it is helpful.

Thank you for your answer.. What if they only answer questions for which they can advertise their hubs?

I don't think it is an issue if its not excessive, but I wondered what others thought :) .

Yes, I have thought of doing so, but Im here to write and read, to be a part of a community of those who enjoy the same. Not to sellsellsell.
