   What are the infractions that lead to being banned by hubpages?

      Actually, I am not worried about people not answering me, what I wanted to ask was, I have noticed some people who have been banned from hubpages and I wanted to know the reason why?

      oh. I see, well my first account got banned too. and to be honest I really dont  have any idea why. But when I created a new account. and one of my hubs got a message from quality assessment and said there are poor structured or grammatical error.

   Savio, I don't know the exact reason these hubbers have been banned. However, I would guess that it is because they failed to follow HubPages guidelines--either those associated with responding to questions or with other HubPages activity such as forum participation, hubs, etc...
   
   I have found that the FAQ page is particularly useful for learning more about HubPages and it outlines a number of the guidelines I referred to earlier. The FAQ page is easy to find as it can be accessed through a link which appears in the drop-down menu when you hover your pointer over your Hub name in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

   Hello Savio. Great question! Banning from what little I know is a severe penalty if that word is chosen. The learning center will share those causes for that process of banning, which may be of consequential of immediacy, yet usually a process.
   
   I know, that does not answer the question. A consideration is even though Hubpages offers a platform for free enterprise for the writer and reader, it too is an enterprise. They must meet and adhere to protocol of those they have entered into a business agreement with, such as Google, Amazon, Ebay, and etc.
   
   They each have their own protocols too called Terms of Service, which are to be adhered to while being afforded their services at a predetermined cost. That may be including a no-charge or no-cost service to the benefactor or us the writers and readers.
   
   Awareness is the key, yet not necessarily to the point of requiring a legal mind. More legal ease could be said. It could be termed the difference between etiquette and manners. An example is here in the US there are different traffic laws from state to state. In Oregon you can turn left at a corner without stopping at a stop sign. California you cannot. Do it in California and you face the risk of a ticket & a financial consequence, suspending the privilege of driving, or relinquishing the license to drive all together.
   
   Rumor has it, since again I have not any first hand knowledge, communication is entered upon in someway. From there it may be interpretation, personal perspective(s), differences in values, and etc leading to some decision making factor having consequences.
   
   One solution for a challenge in that process I learned is to simply declare and make the hug a non-commercial hub. That bypasses agreements with commercial enterprises such as Amazon, Ebay, Google advertisers, and etc. who each have their own protocols and business entity guidelines they established as their chosen business ethics.
   
   There lies the question. Why cannot the writer profit from their biased or unbiased view of whatever. Well you can, yet maybe not within the ethics of that stream of differing business ethics of advertisers and marketers doing business with Hubpages. Remember Hubpages is a business enterprise providing a service based on conditions or Terms of Service (TOS).
   
   Although unconditional love may exist in the hearts of the individual(s), hands are tied by business ethics, cultural and societal mores and folkways, and varying international and national laws.

   I think the people that were banned may have broken rules whether they knew them or not. This could be anything from posting affiliate links, or substandard hubs of barely a hundred or two hundred words, to cursing, threats, etc. Others are found to have multiple accounts which is also prohibited.

   People are banned from HubPages because they refuse to obey the Terms of Service.  Some folks are just plain stubborn and they insist on doing things their way, even though it is the wrong way!
   If you are afraid of being banned, just follow the rules:  plain and simple!
   HubPages is a wonderful writing platform.  They give us the necessary tools to write, but in the end:  they are the BOSS, and we must obey their rules.
   If you aren't sure about the rules, you should go now and read them.

   @Jason, tsmog, express10 and mary615, thanks for the detailed explanation! What also appalled me was the speed at which some people were banned. Do they not getting warnings? Or is it like you make a mistake and pay for it? No warnings whatsoever.

      I talked to a person who said she received a warning first and if she did that infraction again she would be banned. So the people who got banned probably violated the terms more than once.

   Those hubbers that i know that have been banned were banned because they were verbally abusive to other hubbers, used foul language, had written articles that were promoting violence,  hatred and bigotry, or were considered pornographic and/or who actually threatened to physically harm other hubbers who disagreed with what they had to say.
   Although hub pages does censure its authors, it is not always with 'just' cause.  Unfortunately those who do the reading and censuring of other hubbers are only human and put their own interpretations on what was written, interject their own religious beliefs,  their own perceptions of what "morality" should be, and mostly they assess the articles for the marketable and/or sale-ability of the article's contents. 
   It is not always what is right or wrong, but it is also about who brings in the most revenue for hub pages and their affiliates.  The more money a writer brings in, the more they are favored; the same as with any other profit making business in this world. 
   They also are quite big about censuring anything that has to do with human sexuality - i guess that too is a throwback of old false religious beliefs that sex is 'sinful' in some innocuous way, and talking about it, or reading about it, is offensive to those morally impaired readers.

   Who knows why the people who have answered your questions or have followed you have been banned. People tend to follow people who are like they are. Maybe the people who are attracted to you or the questions you ask are people who have decided not to follow the rules. You're following the rules - they're not. They got banned. HubPages makes it very clear about the things it takes to get banned. It's no secret. The Learning Center has all the rules right there in plain English. People get banned for any number of reasons. So, the question can't be answered completely. But, to find out what could have possibly happened, the Learning Center is a great starting point. The simple answer is that your followers didn't follow the rules and they got banned.

    Dear, I too have the same doubt as you  have raised.  I have noticed that some well known authors have been banned for reason unknown to us.  I found these when I clicked on their username.  Anyone having a sound knowledge on the topic may please  enlighten us about it.  At least the HP authority can highlight the reason for banning so that we can take steps to prevent such occurance or development at least in our individual case.
