    Your approach is good, but I want to take the opportunity to object to the new guidelines. Too many pictures can be distracting, the polls do not draw enough participants. The most important part should be the writing. I wish we had more design tools

    I get what you mean. Red can read as "red alert, problem." I think they may have thought of red as "hot, heating up" and blue as "cooling down." I have the same problem every time I use a water cooler coded red for hot and blue for cool.
