    you would need to enroll to adsense to activate your hubpages earnings program, I've also not been approved to adsense yet, but just keep on trying to enroll.

    No there is no other option. You must need Google adsense. Keep trying to get your adsense account approved.

    Having own domain name increases chances to approve for adsense.

    If you have blogspot account then purchasing domain name through  blogspot and then applying can be a good step.

    But add some 10 topics over there first.
