Hi hubbers, I'm new here and noticed a number (46) on my profile picture. I think I started with 0. I read the FAQ which said that the more articles I write, the higher the number. But what's the point of having a high number?

Just so you don't worry either, links do not become a nofollow below 70. I have 3 accounts, the other 2 were under 70 for a while and still got plenty of google traffic.
peeples: so once your links are "follow", they won't become "nofollow" even if you drop below 70?
Hubs and links can become inactive at any time though with my 3 accounts I have seen no correlation between hub score and google traffic.
They don't? Well, I read otherwise about it. And it's actually 75 is the no-follow benchmark.
Hubpage staff has confirmed this so I am correct in my statement: https://hubpages.com/forum/post/13688 -- Source from a staff member.
I must be lucky then because I have a 66 on one of my other profiles and am doing just fine. I only log in once a month, put a hub up and have no non indexed hubs and google traffic is steady. That post was 5yrs old, change maybe?
Definitely lucky. I just googled that so not sure if I could find something more recent -- but I do know when I was new and posting I was being told that and it did affect my Google Adsense app because when I was over that benchmark, I was okay.
what do you mean by "cheap links"?
