Why do some Hubber's ask very basic questions?

I find some very basic questions being asked on HP. Some of these questions, the hubber can easily Google-search the answers. Why do they ask, anyway? Would you answer such questions?

Hi Anti-Valentine, you understood my question. I've chosen your answer as the best as that is what I suspected and wanted to confirm - "to dominate feed and gain search engine visibility". You've confirmed that. Thank you for responding.

Gotch'ya. Yes, I question some questions from time to time. I just try not to be too harsh because on the occassion that I ask a question, I don't want people questioning my intentions, you know what I mean? :-)

I agree, sometimes I want more of an opinion than an answer and I value the opinion of my fellow hubbers more than the strangers from Google search results.
