I admit, many times I will pass answering a question that has a best answer chosen because I sometimes assume that the asker does not intend to re-visit their question once they pick. I know, answers are for everybody, but that best answer is an incentive.
sort by best latest
Good point. I guess it might not stop someone from showing up, but maybe stop them from participating.
Sometimes it seems like the conversation is booming and I feel like a tool jumping in after the answer has been picked, I assume I'll be all alone
You should, though, especially if you can add something interesting or vital to the conversation!
People seem to run when I come around... I don't know how to shut up :-)
I know that feeling. My Mimi called me "Motor Mouth" when I was a kid. :)
Ha ha, well I think that's what makes you, you! At least interesting things spew from your mouth :-)
A lot of the time I make no sense at all. I just told someone a little while ago that I was running a load of clothes through the microwave.
Ha ha, see, at least it's good for a laugh :-)
Maybe they should have a best answer update?
Or, not allow a pick until a certain number of answers have been submitted. Who wants best answer out of two answers? Those accolades wouldn't mean much.
I've asked questions that have only had a couple of answers... some just work like that. I guess I'm thinking if the page is on fire, let it go for a moment.
