Do Hubs receive better scores if images/videos used are cited?
Or is it solely based on Hub Hopper reviews and page views?
I'm not entirely sure. But part of determining a hub score is the QAP (quality assessment process) as well as the length and uniqueness of a hub. You can read more about it here: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/hubs … bber-score .
Also, you are supposed to be citing the images that you use in your hubs. And we're not supposed to use copyrighted images either. You can only use images that are in the public domain or that have the creative commons license. You can find out more here: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/legal-image-use .
As for videos, I read in a forum thread here somewhere that it's okay for us to use videos on our hubs and there's no copyright issue because if we can embed the video in our hub then that means we can use it. Here's the link for that forum thread: http:// hubpages.com/forum/topic/111641#post2383519 . Hope this helped.
No there's no direct connection between Hub Scores and Image/Video Citing. Rather when you put the source of the Image, they critically review your post and your post takes more time in approval then a normal post without any link.

I have a couple of hubs that receive about 2 monthly views and sometimes 5 to 10 monthly views, but their scores are very low (in the 50's and 60's) and they were written when I was learning how to write successful hubs. Should I bother deleting them or should I just keep them around?

I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their efforts in entirely wrong directionsFor instance, I've known newbie Hubbers stop...

I'm thinking the answer is probably yes?If you have hubs that have been deemed "not featured", for one reason or another, will that factor into lowering your overall score/rating as a HubPages member? Example--let's say your overall rating is 75. If 10 non featured hubs become...

Hub with over 800 words of content. My own photos. A video added. 3 Amazon Products that are hub content related. A whopping hub score of 49

Hey,So uh, I wrote a Hub which I put a decent amount of effort in, and in the end it had the lowest score of all my Hubs. It is not even featured. And I would say I put more work in that Hub than in others, which have higher scores. The rating right now is 66, and here is a link to the hub :...
