   How do you conveniently determine whether your hubs are being copied/stolen else where?
   
   I'm just wondering if there is a convenient way to do it, because normally I use the Google search by copying a paragraph in my hub. That way, I'll know if there others copied my work. However, this method is really time consuming. I also noticed that the indicator in the Hub Statistics page fail to track that one. Any thoughts and advice on the matter will be highly appreciated! Thanks!

   This issue of copied/stolen hubs needs to be sorted out by the powers that be at Google and elsewhere. Surely an automatic flagging system could be installed whenever someone attempts to steal an article, which many low-lives do. The original should be dated and timed and anything appearing after that which is obviously just copied stopped!!
   I also think the HP symbol for 'might be copied' is not that reliable.
   
   Your method of copying material and pasting it into Google is a good one and should give you results. I don't know of any other way. Good luck with your search and please let everyone know if you find a better way!!

      Thank you for your wonderful insights chef-de-jour! I'm experimenting on a method that involves Google Alert. I'll see if it will be effective in identifying any copied works of my hubs. I'll let this community know if it is indeed working.

   You can use copyscape.com. Go to this site and paste the url of your hub. If there is any copied material, it is immediately highlighted. Check it out!

      Thanks for your suggestion! Actually, I'm using this sometimes, but I find it a little inconvenient as well due to the limit in number of urls to be checked.

      Alright, then in that case google search is the best way. The sad part is that you could be searching with one part of your hub, which may not have been copied, while the other part could be. Plagiarism is not limited to copying the entire hub.
