Is HP reviving a bunch of old questions due to lack of participation?

I noticed that most of the 2 and 3 year old questions have short answers posted. Most of them 8 days ago. Makes me wonder if this is something that is done in slow times or coincidence.

Probably because you singled out Soy. That could have created very vehement responses from green, Lima and Kidney.

Hi ChitrangadaSharan, the same has happened to me and yes, like you I've also lost the motivation to post questions now.

I think they need to delete the majority of them anyway. Most of them are inane, senseless, and do nothing good for the site. I've even deleted a few of my own, just because they were low traffic and useless.

I think many people are finding this. Either their questions are removed due to them 'promoting a discussion' or no one bothers to answer. The questions used to be enjoyable, now its just a confusing bore!

If they keep deleting everyone's questions, I reckon there will be less inclination to post them.

Wow Jeff I thought of the same question but was not even interested enough to ask the question. Good thing-I did not realize it would have led to ban!

Maybe. But why not drop the old for the new? Some of those old ones show 150 answers over 3 years. I wouldn't spend time on an answer that gets lost in that crowd. No one is going to go thru a 100 answers to find the new one.
