Do you still put a tracker link in your hubs?

In all of my hubs I have a link in a blue box with a referral tracker with a heading offering to sign up with Hubpages to write articles. Is this still a good idea for new hubs since all the changes?

FYI, here is a link to the HP FAQ on referral trackers:

The blue box near the bottom has a note on "Appropriate Use of Referral Trackers".

I had one person who did sign up through one of my hubs but they never did publish any content! On the new templates being offered when creating new hubs I am not seeing any suggestion to add a referral tracker for visitors to sign up for Hubpages.

Thanks for this helpful link. I don't have outside social media and that is probably why my traffic is so low!

That appropriate use policy looks new to me and it's difficult to understand the rationale behind it. I use them exactly that way (and other ways) in my hubs but I guess since they came out before the policy they have not been moderated.
