   How long have you been writing on hubpages?
   
   Just curious to see how long everyone has been on hubpages.  I only discovered it this year.

   I started writing for HP from March 2012. I got its reference from a magazine. By now I have done 78 hubs and got 12 Accolades.

   I completed two years on HP this August. I read about HP on a certain writing site. According to the author, HP was the second best writing site. Since I was looking for a better paying market, I joined HP immediately. In the beginning, I published poems and stories, but later I began to publish informative contents.
   So far, HP has been very profitable to me. I have graduated from Apprentice Program, my five hubs have been awarded the Hub of the Day, and 100 hubs have Editor's Choice banner.

   I've been writing on Hubpages for around three-and-a-half years.  During that time I've placed 295 Hubs.  To me, its a place to place my essays and thoughts on life in general.  At least a few of them get read and it's always nice to know that one is actually communicating with others in more than the usual, shallow conversations which generally go on between people who are simply talking with one another. 
   
   I must admit, that of late, I've begun to taper off a little with my contributions.  I now tend to place a few on my own website.  My younger - who's into SEO - tells me that frequent posts is what the "spiders of the search engines' look for," so if you want good Google ratings, be sure to blog frequently and regularly.

   I have been on HP for around 16 months. The first year , I loved it. Then the "big changes" came and it has not been so fun since.

      JThomp42  - I hear a lot of people talk about the big changes.  I guess I haven't been here long enough to know what those are (only been here since May of this year).  Hopefully HP will make it right!

   It seems I'm the newbie of the bunch and have only been here for two months. Thanks for telling me about it because I really like the format and the people I've met. For now, I'm thinking this is going to be my permanent writing site instead of using one of the many blog places.

    It will be six years in November.  That's kind of hard for me to believe because when I signed up I didn't even really "get" what kind of stuff people "were supposed" to write.

    I have been writing here for over five months now and I love it here. I am on 10,000 views now with 32 hubs about gardening, recipes, holidays and a poem. I discovered hubpages when I was looking at ways on how to make money on the internet.

    I have been writing here for four years as of last month. I have over 400 hubs published and have deleted dozens as they became outdated. I have has almost 700,000 views, which is mind boggling to me. I would certainly agree that Hubpages has made many changes, some good and some not. I don't write as often as I once did as I do a lot of other freelance writing and am writing a few magazine articles hoping that will b e successful.

    28 months......loving every minute....wishing I had much more time to spend in Hubville everyday.....and never had to take a break for silly, "REAL LIFE" things.
    In these past 28 months, I have established virtual friendships and bonds, just as sincere and valuable as some of my lifelong friendships.  In fact, I can honestly admit I feel somewhat more connected to my precious Hub Buddies.
    Think about it.  We have the golden opportunity to be in touch 24/7......we read one another's  thoughts, ideas, hopes and dreams.   We share all we care to share and understand the "writer's world."   
    I plan to be here as long as I am able.....but even afterward,  I know in my heart that the friendships will go on. 
    Glad you discovered HP......I'm sure you are as well.   Peace.
