Why is my highest scoring hub not an Editor's Choice?
My hub on Japan's falling population has the highest score, most views and comments, and yet unlike some of my other hubs it is not an editor's choice. Why might this be?
It is my understanding that your hubs must be recommended for this award. Maybe your other hubs were recommended and this one particular one was not.
Well, because the score isn't necessarily based on the opinion of an editor (or group of editors), but on a whole series of factors and how they result in a well-written, quality article. But that doesn't necessarily mean that the editors would deem it among their favorites or top picks. For an analogy, I would say the films I consider the best in the world, doesn't necessarily end in my favorites list.
Nominate your hub for Editor's choice. I did the same for one and it got chosen. But, the hub i nominated was unique in the sense that there was no such article with the same name on google. Mine was "Top 10 most difficult names in football", i guess this is why it got selected.
I have never understood the methodology for the Editor's choice. I have Hubs that have thousands of views and they have only average scores (another thing I do not understand.) I think some subjects will never make the editor's choice. I write a lot about political issues, knowing there will be many that disagree with me.
Being chosen would be nice, But, I doubt if I will ever make the cut.

I had a hub that was receiving around 1,300-1,500 views per day. It was chosen as Editor's Choice. It then dropped by about 1,000 views per day. I opted out of the program, but that hub is no longer showing in Google for the keywords that brought it all the traffic before EC messed it up. How can I...

So I'm replying to a comment on my hub and upon scrolling through the hub (I always check for errors or how I can improve), I see the related hubs section. There are five hubs there including one of mine. What immediately got my attention is that the other four hubs has "editors choice"...

If I recall there used to be a nominate a hub for editor's choice button on my feed page. I think it was right above the Hub of the Day. I don't see it anymore. Is it gone or has it been moved somewhere else? Thanks in advance.

I make it a habit to count my EC hubs just to make sure none have gone missing. (OCD) This morning I was surprised to see one of mine lost its designation overnight. There were no edits to it and it still has the same 70 comments and 42 original pictures of a method and a recipe. The only...

People are reporting that if a Hub gets made Editor's Choice, it loses its Facebook likes. This sounds like a real issue to me.http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/115381

Can someone please tell me what happens after a hub is picked up as Editor's Choice? Something unusual happens after Editor's Choice? I mean in terms of its traffic, revenue generation, etc. In other words, how these privileged hubs compares with other less fortunate ones, in terms of real...
