I started a new hub, research & confidence in tact. Got no further than Title, summary and 1st. capsule. Noticed an alert for "ads disabled due to content filters" STOPPED & left page. I've been this unproductive route before......never again. My topic was "Child Abuse." I don't understand the rules of advertisers & never will. No money? I can't waste my time anymore. Would you simply write your hub anyway, knowing you cannot earn a single penny?

Exactly my point, wychic.....thanks. This is why it is so perplexing. But we are not to understand....we are simply to follow the rules! Welcome to America and freedom of speech.
The general consensus is running majority rule.......Need to put my annoyance behind me. Thanks, Phyllis
I hear ya, girlfriend. I needed a little feedback & can always count on our HP Community!
Thanks Ed......I think I knew that I should just keep on writing......sometimes we need encouragement from fellow writers. I appreciate all of you!
kerlund....thanks for your input. Always appreciated.
GF...that has been my attitude right along, but because I have such little time to write lately, I'm suddenly concerned about revenue. Need to revert back to my old attitude. Thanks, woman!
I'm aware that many people read hubs that we're not aware of & I suppose that includes minors. Young people need to be shielded from a fact of life such as child abuse??? If THEY say so!
Point very well-taken, bro. I did go back and forth on this. I still have a bad taste left due to my most read hub having been ad-disabled, DESPITE the fact that I followed HP's instructions to the letter about editing to bring the hub up to snuff.
You can help the HubPages community highlight top quality content by ranking this answer up or down.
I can understand your reasoning, but I do hope that things improve for you so that soon you will share your obvious talents here on HP. I am always pleased to welcome new writers into our Community.
Lois....Thanks for your comment. I'm beginning to see that I should go ahead and write this hub. Need to adjust my attitude!
Truth is....This is a sore spot for me, b-cuz I seriously edited a hub per instructions from HP, but they NEVER acknowledged nor responded. Just left my hub ad-disabled even tho I made the changes. Oh well. I need to get over it!
sinix.....I have not been concerned with $$ in the past. I copped an attitude due to my most read hub being ad-disabled. I see this stubborn woman needs to "get over it!!" LOL
