First I type slow = 25wpm. And I make mistakes. Most articles on average are about 6 hours. Honestly one article may be only 3 - 4 hours. Another I may work on takes months with researching and not hurried. I enjoy the learning process plus I am looking for that 'niche' market of expertise.
I generally let the content sit overnight or the length of day. I then go back and edit with a fresh perspective. That was taught in college essay and creative writing classes for a practice. The few seminars suggest the same.
I claim not being the best or some such. I struggle with keeping articles of less words. I tend to overwrite some say, others say not enough and then write their own on a tangent I did not explore. Oh, well . . . I am drifting.
