How many people make payout every month?
Just curious how many writers actually make payout every month. I just made payout for my first time, but am nowhere near making payout every month (basing that on average earnings of $2 a day give or take). Do you make payout monthly? If not, how often do you make payout? If you do, how long did it take?
Yes, it took about a year or so and it grows pretty consistently.
I'm not a standard because I joined, wrote multiple articles, left for over a year, and I have had several months at a time where I have left HP. On top of that I actually deleted a large majority of my hubs over a year ago. With that said I started making payout on a steady basis in summer of 2013. Since then it has come more often every time with payout every month or once in a while every other month.
I still don't make it every month, and have been here three years now. But maybe one day - that'd be cool.
I have been at Hubpages for about 2 years. I came close to making payout monthly this year, only 50 cents short of it, but last November and December 2013 I made payout monthly, because I wrote a lot of Hubs on gifts and Christmas movies.
Congratulations Kathleen. I am still waiting for my first payout...hopefully next month if all goes well.
Wow, I find this hard to believe Jodah! I am literally shocked that you havent made payout yet
Kathleen, I made my first payout near the end of 2013. I've been a member since October 2011. I now receive payment every other month and it increases slightly each time. Hopefully, one day I'll have monthly paychecks. I don't post as much as I used to, so I'll have to step up my game in order to start seeing monthly benefits.
Thats great bravewarrior! Even if it was just the minimum, I would be quite happy with $50 extra every month!
After my first payout I have consistently made payout every other month. I'm on track to make payout every month around December, assuming this trend continues. Granted I started writing on here a year ago and I reached my first payout in March. It just takes time. The more you write and the better you write the better your chances are of reaching payout each month.
In the three years since I started here my average monthly 'take' has been $4-6, meaning it takes about five months to amass the $50 through Paypal.
I don't understand how to kick-start income through e-bay or Amazon, although according to the details on the income tables I've 'activated' them - just not making any cash out of either. (Haven't the time to muddle over it, what with the book writing right now).

Can I?I have a couple of smaller accounts. As Amazon currently operates, my earnings go into one pot. From what I can understand, that won't happen once HP take over my Amazon. Or am I wrong? If I'm not, why not? I am going to lose out as it is, and I can't see the separation of my HP accounts being...

Well, I would have made it sooner if it hadn't been for stupid Panda. But after a year, I finally got to the place where I've achieved payout in one month! Now if I could actually get a payout every month from now on, I'd be happy! I think I quite like HP new advertising plan after all.

I only have $5 to go to reach payout for the first time. It took 2 years but I really don't count the first year because I only had 5 hubs that sat for a year so I figured it took about 1 year to reach payout. Is it true after your first payout your next payout comes quicker?

How many hubs do you think it takes to make payout every month?
