How Are Former Lensmasters Finding It Having To Start Over at HubPages?
I've come across quite a few former Lensmasters the past few weeks. I've noticed that they have quite a task cut out for them to build a new following hear at HubPages. How is it going? Have you been able to find your old connections from Squidoo?
I have a little tribe of my former Squid buddies following me here at HubPages, and seem to be picking up a couple of followers a day from my content. As for the editing, it is what it is. I only migrated about 35 lenses. I'm expanding them all, to comply with the HubPages requirements, or, in a couple of cases, merging two together, to make one longer article. I feel for the folks who have hundreds of pages to edit.

I'm not knocking anybody (or maybe I am) but I have seen several "Hubs" that transferred from Squidoo that are composed of nothing more than very thin content and a whole bunch of merchandising links (and even one lady who pimped her own Etsy page multiple times in her "Hub")....

Former Squidoo Lensmasters - What Do You Like / Dislike About HubPages? Now that many of you have used HubPages for a few weeks, What Do You Like / Dislike About HubPages?

I just want to say: Welcome to HubPages Squidoo Lensmasters! I hope we all learn a thing or two from you and can become one big writing community here at HubPages. When are the Squidoo accounts supposed to start being transferred to HubPages?

I cannot believe the amount of lenses from Squidoo, strictly about Squidoo are not only on Hub Pages, but they are found at the bottom of other hubs under Related Hubs.

What has your experience been. Did you notice that the more people you followed, the more people followed you? Did you ever start following people just because you wanted more followers? I have been pretty selective in the people that I follow and I am totally happy with all of the awesome Hubbers...

As a former eHow author this whole 'quality hub' situation looks all too familiar.Anyone have thoughts on this? After all, if I remember correctly, we went through this over there years ago before they shut down the WCP program.
