Would we make better decisions today and have a better life than we now do if we started over with today's knowledge?

You are indeed brave then! lol
Love your answer. I know that I may not make the same mistakes as before, but most likely would make new ones and have all new lessons to learn. We become who we are through trials and tribulations and learning from our mistakes in life.
Thanks for your thoughts AOkay.
We probably all know we did a lot of worrying for nothing!
Some very interesting and valid points.
Wow...must be the rich and famous there!
The same thing happened to me in Aliso Viejo, Orange County, CA. I bought a place in 1991 for $200k and during the 90s recession it dropped to $160k. We did a short sell.
In 2002 the same property was worth $700k! I should have toughed it out! :(
All very true. One life to live.
Bolder, braver; me too. lol
As the world goes now I am not too confident that there would be time for any return trips. It is not easy to be perfect though; I would say impossible.
With all my love, Jackie,
I would tell you that this is part of the problem. Change your mindset. This requires prayer or meditation which by their nature relies on Grace. Saints do not come here to tell us its impossible. They say the opposite.
Thank you; I am sure I have met many who seem saintly...so yes I admit it is possible to be saintly doing as our savior tells us to.
Interesting thought on that.
It would be different I think but better; who can say?
Wish I could say that! lol
Very true. Why worry about this life but instead be preparing for the next; which may soon be here.
Jackid Lynnley - some people spend so much time preparing for the next life - assuming there is one - that they forget to live in this one!
Probably a very good thing if they do; since the next one is forever. Or so I believe.
Kinda know what you mean. Hard to believe people have perfect lives; huh?
