My hub score is still low?

I keep getting 60 on my hubs. I answer Q & A's. Honestly, I don't do forums. I work hard on my poems.

You've only been on HP for 2 months!
Your actual hub score is 66 as denoted on your profile photo. I would not be all that concerned about individual scores on various hubs. Just keep writing quality and interesting hubs. You may want to write about other topics now and then besides poetry.
Also post comments on other people's hubs, vote them up/useful/awesome/interesting (if you believe they deserve it). Offering feedback noteworthy. Ask thoughtful questions,  and answer questions. Gradually over time you'll see your number rise. It's not a competition here. Your scores will rise and fall for numerous reasons.
Don't get caught up in an ego game.
Do your best and go with the flow. smile

I know its not a competition but I want to see it go up. Just a personal level, I want to see it go up. I love poetry. So I get offended when I don't see it going up. 2 months it should atleast go up 2 points from the months. Its disappointing. :-(

I've been here over 6 years and the highest score I've had was a 90. One day you'll look up and see some hubs in the 70s. However it's the (score by your photo) & accolades that indicate to other hub writers your skill level. Do you promote yours

Honestly, no. Its mostly because I don't know how.

You might try posting your hub's link on your face book page or tweet the link to your followers as your latest poem or article. There are probably poetry groups on LinkedIn you could join and share links of your poems from time to time.

I feel for you Magenta. I love poetry too and my first few hubs were only poetry. Unfortunately a lot of other people don't like poetry and flag it in hub hopper. HP doesn't tend to give it high ratings either though they do allow poetry concessions such as not being required to meet the word count of other hubs. I suggest that you combine a number of poems into one hub as a collection or add other text to the hub that is relevant to the subject of the poem, maybe a few more photos or a video. I usually write one poetry hub and then an I formational hub of some type to help boost my score. Good luck..it takes time and effort. I have some hubs with scores of 93, others as low as 57. I love you poetry by the way.

Perhaps it is due to the fact that you only write poetry. Not everyone reads or comments on poetry; poetry usually does not have enough words from HP's point of view; you have only been here for a couple of months an need to build up a place here, it takes time. Put all of these together and they add up.
