How do I add Amazon capsule with my own ID?
I had registered at Amazon and got my ID. I didn't register it at Hubpages. I already add in my Amazon ID at My account. Problem is I don't see any earnings at my Amazon account. Do I have to add in the Amazon capsule with my ID?
Make sure the Amazon number appears in the space provided under ACCOUNT EARNINGS SETTINGS. If the affiliate code is there and your status reads ACTIVE, you're fine. If not, click the CONFIGURE icon at the LEFT for the AMAZON PROGRAM and follow the prompts. When you've accomplished the steps, your settings will read "active" for the Amazon program. Hope this helps. ~~~
yes, the status reads " Active" but i didn't earn a single cent for the past 5 years. I just had to add amazon capsule, choose the keywords and that's it right? No need to copy and paste anything like that?
When you create your hub, you only have to place an Amazon capsule somewhere on that hub while you're in EDIT mode. This is done either by key words OR by actually copying a URL from Amazon and putting it in the HP Amazon template. Be sure to SAVE.
I am a bit confused as to what you are asking. Are you asking about Amazon earnings under your Amazon account or under your HubPages account?
If you want to earn from Amazon under their account, you must get an Amazon affiliate link for the product you are selling. Without that link in the text there isn't any way for you to sell the product through Amazon.
If you do not know how to do that there is not enough space or time here to teach you how, but I am sure you can find free instructions with a Google search, a HubPage search or a YouTube search.
If you ARE using an Amazon affiliate link, check to make sure the link is still active and the product is still available. If it is a yes to both, then my guess would be that, after 5 years no one is interested in buying that product and i would have dumped it 4 years ago.
Hope that helps.

I received a notice about being charged to keep my Amazon affiliate program active if I have no sales in 90 days. I'm sure others share this issue. Since I agreed to use Amazon under Hubpages program ID, I do earn more commission but now I may be charged due to my own ID isn't producing income.Is...

When I check out my affiliate id under the earnings-settings tab I see an affiliate id that I can't find in my associate account via the amazon webpage the one which shows up is completely different. Therefore I'm unable to receive any earnings correct? Or is this unrelated and it's actually Hub...

I often see barely related Amazon ads on pages here. Sometimes, I see ads that seem plain perverse -- ads for Apple TV on an apple pie recipe page, for example.I'm sure a lot of the most unrelated (and harmful) Amazon ads come from the 'choose keywords' feature in Amazon capsules.Might be helpful...

Ohhhh---kaaayyyyy....I have been gradually editing some hubs, and today ran into an odd and frustrating problem. On one of my hubs, the Amazon capsule was hidden, and upon clicking to edit, saw the "out of compliance" red type about the new guidelines, and too many items in one...

I finally attached my adsense and all that a day or so ago. (I still have the acct. I used on my last acct. so I'm not waiting for it to be approved.) I may be jumping the gun, but I thought I would have earned a penny or two by now. I wonder if I've done something wrong.
