Can we get rid of certain ads?

There is a rather disgusting ad showing up on my hubs, the one with the headline, Shocking Discovery, about what they find hiding in the stomach. That ad would cause anyone to click off of an article. Is there a way to block that ad?

Hi Sam. That ad almost made me sick. I clicked on the X to close it and a box came up for me to check why I chose to close it. I have not seen it since.

I don't see an x by the ad anywhere.

Look in the top right of the ad and you will see (in light blue) a volume icon and an X. Click on that X then follow instructions. It only takes a few seconds. I just had to do that to another gross ad.

For some reasons, the ads I see do not have that x. I know they should but there is no x next to the arrow. I did find how to block certain ads from the Adsense page. This website explains how to do that.

You do have some control over the ads that appear through your Adsense account (can block certain ad companies, categories etc.). You should also alert HubPages and if they deem it inappropriate on the site they will do the same on their end so hopefully it does not appear.

I was able to get find the ads URL and block it on my Adsense page. I also noticed that on my Adsense page, it has my blogs listed but not my HubPages account. Should it and if so, how do I get it in there?
