Is using humor in your hubs a good idea?

I think it can make your reader feel comfortable and familiar with you, but some might argue that humor makes you look less professional or knowledgeable. What do you all think?

Agreed! Maybe not all of my comments will get a laugh, but I'll do my best to keep my Hubs entertaining. Perhaps I ought to simply work on when I use it.

Welcome to HubPages, Broc! I'm only a couple weeks old here, too. And thanks for the answer, you make some good points to consider.

Thanks, Trudy. I'll definitely try to provide both knowledge and entertainment with my hubs.
