I have written a hub on a specific subject but it has ended up being 4000 words long. It is pretty detailed and there isn't really a way to cut it down. I did a few searches and there isn't much else written on the topic and nothing that covers it as thoroughly. I am just wondering if it is way too long and people will not read it. I normally write around 1200 - 2000 words.

I published the hub as it was and it has started out with a hubscore of 92 straight off.
I posted it and it has had 32 views in five days so will see how it goes. Is there anyway we can see how long people stay on a hub for? I was thinking that could help see how much people are reading.
Ahh ok, well just keep it and promote it a little bit. Urm, don't think so, but I haven't really looked into it personally. I think you can with google analytics
The problem I'm having is it's hard to split up and if I do I will end up having to repeat some of the information. But will have to reword so it doesn't show up as copied.
