Do you prefer articles written by someone with experience on topic or just researched it?

If you are reading about something important to you, do you prefer the author actually have experience with the topic, or is researching and presenting you with facts they have read enough?

That was very kind of you, thank you! I agree, there is just something different about the tone of those who have experienced it vs. the tone from someone who researched alone.

I agree, and chances are if someone has experience they have also done their own research on the topic.

Thanks, I agree, research alone is good, and can create a quality article, but experience along with research makes me feel the article is more creditable.
