Hub Pro is HubPages efforts to edit our hubs and bring up the quality of the whole site. I chose to allow my hubs to be edited. I'm not saying that is what anyone else should do or that I did the right thing. I just wanted to make an observation about the edits done to my hubs. All 154 of my hubs are featured and 67 have been edited by Hub Pro. The majority of edits were in the comments. For each edit to my article, there were five in the comments, a 5 to 1 ratio. Is editing comments a good strategy to improve the quality of HP? Mandatory comment editing with Optional hub editing?

Keith, thanks for clarifying the difference between Hub Pro and Hub-Bot. I wasn't aware of Hub-Bot until the icon showed up on my statistics page. I just assumed it was part of Hub Pro.
I think technically it *IS* part of Hub Pro, but it's "Hub Pro Basic" - which is meant to perform very low level, minor corrections.
The full-monty Hub Pro is when a real person goes into your Hub, moves stuff around and/or adds/removes things.
(tips hat) Ain't no thing but a chicken wing.
I agree, editing comments makes them feel judged rather than welcome.
