Can you delete and republish blogs that have become un-featured due to lack of traffic?

I've recently had a lot of blogs lose their featured status due to lack of traffic. I was wondering if there are any policies against deleting blogs that are no longer featured and publishing them again? So many of these blogs were published before I had much of a following, and I feel like republishing them will result in increased traffic. Also, I welcome any commentary on the positive and negative effects of a strategic move like this.

I did everything to 'fix' my hubs. A few days up, down again. So,publish elsewhere. 'Unpublish' them here.

This is a waste of time. Trust me. I've done it, and after hours of time wasted, unfeatured again.

They weren't deactivated due to quality of content, but because of lack of traffic. That's part of my reason for wanting to start entirely anew. I think they will get more traffic than they ever did when I published them the first time.
