Has anyone else noticed that HP now places photos on your questions that you did

   Has anyone else noticed that HP now places photos on your questions that you did not place?
   
   I noticed last night that the questions I asked and did not upload a photo to go along with the question, that HP placed a strange unrelated photo on each question.  Does that mean HP prefers that all of our questions have some sort of photo added to them?  I do not like the photos they have placed as they are not really related to the question.  Has anyone else noticed this too on your questions?  Thank you for answering. I am not going to place a photo on this question and see if one eventually appears that I did not place.

   Could it be spam? A few months back Someone kept posting comments that had nothing to do with my hubs. They would talk to me as if they knew me personally and then would suggest some product.

      Hi Lori, I just checked my profile page under my questions, and there is a photo there now that I did not place on this question! However, I did experience what you have too about outside individuals leaving bizarre comments.

      I use to get those a lot in my comments but I just delete them and now I rarely see anything like that. Maybe they are just testing out hubbers to see who never even checks their comments; you think?

      Yes, sometimes I will get spam comments that make no sense at all, and then have to delete them.

   I have not. I checked about a dozen of my last questions and only the one Posted with an image has any image. So, I can't confirm what you are asking. I will watch with future questions :-)

      Really, Tim?  Wow, now that is so strange!  Wonder who is placing photos on my questions, as I am not placing them?  Hopefully, Matthew or someone will come on and have a reason for such goings on ...

      I posted 2 new Q's today. I made sure I did not check the image box. Both do not have an image at them. Posted 2hrs ago (1:15PST). I Posted one more, but I checked the image box & did not upload an image. No image at it. I will keep watching them

      Wow! I see that. I've never looked at questions there before. I did notice they repeat the same images over and over, but spread out. I have the crossword, the bracelet thingies, and the same flowers repeated.

      Yes, the crossword and flowers, etc.  Now, you have confirmed it too!  I wonder why the added images are not showing up on the questions but just on the profile space?  Thank you for letting me know.  Bless you

   I just looked at my questions on my profile page. Every one of them has a photo now - even the ones I didn't include one with. So, the answer to your question appears to be YES.
   
   I don't like the photos they've chosen, either. One of my questions was about traffic dropping. They've added a photo of a bunch of candies. What the hay?????

      Yes, what the hay?  Me too ...photos of candy, leaves or a flower. I guess we need to make sure to add our own photos. They do not show up on the question itself but our profile pages under questions.  Thank you for confirming, Sha!

      Yes, I add photos to my questions too, except when I can't find an appropriate one to fit the question, but it seems HP is now adding their own and you can see them from our profile page.  I guess they want it as colorful as possible?

      I try to add photos or images to my questions, but when the question just doesn't fit an image, then I just ask the question.  HP is adding their on image or photo now; I guess to add color to one's profile page as that is where they are showing up.

   Faith.
   I noticed that it does place a 'default' photo on the questions that if you're working from a laptop or desktop you can tell it not to (can't remember where the little box is for it but there is one you tick). Not sure about when using my phone though! Hope this helps
