How do you maintain page views on your seasonal hubs, if any?
I do keep on updating them. What else should be done to have a continuous flow of visitors?
I wish I could help you out here Chitrangada but I don't write enough seasonal hubs to be able to give you a proper answer I'm afraid!
Many of my hubs are educational and tend to go with the term times of colleges and schools so I too have ebb and flow, peaks and troughs. Also, weekends are not so good for me.
If you write seasonal hubs you'd need to have hubs for all seasons so you're guaranteed some traffic at least some of the time? Refreshing and updating is important, especially on already successful hubs. Best of luck!
Thank you Andrew Spacey, for responding to the question!
I have three to four seasonal hubs which I keep on updating. They generate decent views in season but otherwise I keep on sharing them to keep them featured. Thanks for your helpful answer!
It is SEO and all, which I do not understand. Read the hubs of Writer Fox, our fellow hubber.
Thank you Sanjay ji, for answering the question! I would follow your suggestions. Thanks!
Keep on advertising them! How did you initially build up traffic to those hubs? For most of us it's social media, forums, and blogs. So whenever you give those seasonal hubs a major update (while they're in-season of course) give those old advertising gears another turn.
Thank you Michael Ward, for your helpful answer!
I will follow your advice and tips. Thanks!

Do you think it is better to unpublish seasonal Hubs? They won't get traffic during the year, so I'm wondering if it would be better to unpublish those until the next season. I am thinking about Christmas Hubs I have written.

I've just had a hub idled--yes, I prefer to use this word--which has a score of 84 and over 4000 views. Its a seasonal hub and usually gets me quite a few views during the winter. I understood from the staff these would not be idled if they received traffic during their peak...

Many of my gardening, Easter, St. Patrick's Day and Valentine hubs have become unfeatured. How are we supposed to keep views and interactions up on articles that are seasonal? If we just leave them unfeatured till closer to the correct season, will they be deleted by Hub Pages? I...

When is the best time to publish seasonal hubs? For those of us who publish seasonal hubs, when is the best time to do so? Before or during the holiday/season? For instance, I plan on doing a couple of Halloween themed hubs. Should I publish them now or wait? If I wait,...

I remember Staff telling us that in this new test that seasonal hubs and others would stay featured longer. To my surprise I signed on today to find a seasonal hub now un-featured!Has there been another rule change?
