Is it any good milestone for me to mention it?

Just, I am seeing a message from HP that I hit a 3 year anniversary at Hub Pages. I wonder is it really 3 years with only a crawling overall viewership of only 18,000 to my credit? Isn't it a too bad performance?
Compared to this, my performance at my blog is much better with 85,000 views in 4 years.

Ven, I see this as a promise for more in the future. It takes time to gather followers. Your poetry is heartfelt and sincere. Keep writing my friend.

We look for big hits. We look for published works. We look for our writing to be honored. These are reasonable desires.
The hardest thing I face every day is sitting down and writing. My number one accomplishment is that I have not given up or given in to SEO. There is no achievement that one can reach that makes them more of a writer. Only doing it really matters.
You are a fine writer my friend. I am proud to have known you these past three years.

Thank you, Eric, for your good advice and encouragement. It is true that a writer should keep on writing if he has to improve his skills and his presence felt in the writing field. I do not know the ABCs of SEO. I solely depend upon my content and st

There are many variables. I go to Poetry Cafe quite regularly, but it's the people in spiritual settings such as the Sufi's, who say the most amazing things about my work. So audience matters. Again, looking at Poetry, some venues are better than others, so again, where we post can and do matter.

Building up a clientele, like a business man, is also great. Bill does this with a touch of psychology, great human decency, writing capacity and goodness among other things. Find out what works best for you. Ask why is your blog more interesting to viewers.

Finally, yes 18,000 is a small amount. But I have always celebrated. Shams says that patience is not really waiting, but to see the Light at the end of the journey. Much Love and God speed! Congratulations!

Thank you Manatita, my Brother. Your words are wisdom. I really need to identify my weak points and the demands of my audience. Writing style should be improved to catch the audience and the presentation also.
Thanks for your tips and encouraging wor

Venkat - I believe that page views are just one of many factors to consider. One might be a prolific writer, but create articles that are poorly written, with misspellings, grammatical errors, and lack of organization. The hubs you author are well thought out; your English is flawless and your topics are meaningful.

Please continue to do what you are doing. I for one always appreciate hearing from you.

I agree, Linda. But, mere flawlessness and meaningful content do not suffice. I think audience look at the writing style and appealing presentation also. I should improve in these fields.   Need to do more practice and keep on writing. Thanks a lot.
