   Do you keep a backup of your Hubs? If so, do you keep it in your hard disk or elsewhere!
   
   Why I ask this is because I was writing for an online website earlier , before joining HubPages. I had saved the links to those 25 + articles that I had published there. Now when I click on those links , I get the message that the articles are 'not found' or 'can't open the page'. But the website is very much there , though it looks different.
   I understand that it is difficult to save or keep backup of so many hubs . Is there an easier way?

   Right now, I just save mine as documents in Microsoft Cloud, One Drive. Hope it is enough.

   I compose my articles on my PC as a Word document. So, I have a digital record on that hard drive. Then that is backed up on another hard drive. But, I don't have it on a cloud server nor have I printed a hard copy on paper.
   
   If I composed Hub articles in the HubPages article tool only and wanted a copy I would do it this way. I would open a Word document and copy / paste the article in it as text format rather than as an image.

   Extremely important point. I'm guilty here as my poems are so special to me. I save them all on Word, but have not got around to the hard copy. As I do Open Mic, I also print each one. So I have folders. Naturally they are all on Hub pages, but that can be lost, yes. I'm dying to have my book done. This way I'll have them all. But yes, God's willing, I will back them up before they disapear. I recommend this.

      Thank you Manatita for answering! So wise of you to print each of your wonderful hubs. I should at least save them on my computer. As I mentioned in the question, my articles from the online site where I was publishing earlier have vanished. Thanks!

      So sorry. Buy a USB stick and save this way. Use One drive or Drop box. Other ways.

   Yes, I do. I keep a copy in reader view downloaded to my computer. You never know when something could go wrong or maybe the page or article gets lost then you have saved it and can reload it without trying to recreate the whole page. The lines in the search the search bar for each hub article, I just click it when on each page and save it directly to my PC. I hope this helps. I don't save the live view.

   Back several years an old timer named epi told me that my writing stunk and looked like it was written on the HP format. We got a good chuckle but I now write in word and save.
   Sermons do not do well here. Do not get me wrong I have well over 200 parishioners but there is no promotion through HP even as they are featured.
   So I had better write them for a later date and so save them before posting.

      Your sermons are like treasure , whether they are promoted or not, they are guidelines for life's journey. You may compile them in a book later on.
      I do keep backups though not for all my hubs. But now I would do

   I have always done this.  I make a copy as soon as I publish a hub and transfer it to a flash drive.  At the end of each month, I create backups of those articles to two other flash drives.
   
   I also create lists of articles and categorize them by topics and do the same with them. I found that both of these things have been invaluable in many ways.

   I keep my hubs in word documents and in a file folder and then as a back-up I save to a DVD, but that does not stop thieves who want credit for your work.
   My hubs for the Good Words Project has one missing the 2nd Good Word and it was one of my best.

      Keeping Hubs in word documents is the ideal thing to do.
      You are right about thieves but that is the cruel truth about Internet. It has happened to me as well on several occasions.

   I keep backups as PDF files on my computer and I also keep hard copies that I print out. I don't know, but I may be a little over cautious.
