I'm doing good score wise, but I would like to know how can I network better and get more followers?
I have a good score 81 and I have published 46 hubs so far, but I only have a following of six people, how do I better that. I wish you would write an article on that. You explain things so well.
One way to get more followers is consistently commenting and following other hubbers, I personally am a horrible example of that, but it is because of my lack of time, not because I don't know how.
btw, I'm following you now, lol
When you read a hub that you like and believe you have something to contribute besides just "Good Hub", then leave a comment.
Follow others and they may also follow you. Personally I mostly follow either the top hubbers who I feel that I can learn from, or whom publish hubs in topics I like.
Occasionally ask or answer questions.
Leave comments in the Forums.
Leave comments on the official HP Blog.
#1 Would be writing Hubs that others will find interesting. If a person likes your hubs they are likely to follow you.
Basically every place on HP that you can get your name seen, you are increasing your chances of gaining new followers, getting more users to read your hubs and making some money possibly.
all of these are great answers and I agree. The way I'm doing it is not just by writing but also by reading what my fellow writers are writing, and taking in what they are writing about. Follow them, leave great comments, helpful and true comments, form relationships (not deep ones, but know who your fellow hubbers are). Take the time to vote on hubs and mark them useful, funny, awesome, or beautiful. They'll do it in return. Also post your new hubs on Facebook (start a page if you don't have one) or Tweet it. Make sure you have great tags for your hub.
Another thing is to be active if you would like to start earning awards. Ask and answer questions. Go to the forums. When you get comments on your writing, make sure to acknowledge it - hubbers do come back to read what you wrote.
Oh and I'm following you now too...Namaste'

I am still new to Hubpages and have been enjoying a rather successful start. Thank you to those who have voted my articles up and those few of you who have begun to follow me. But I have noticed one thing of late and maybe it is the way it goes but I think it is disrespectful. I have commented on a...
