No, I don't think just deleting all your hubs will help. Wait--maybe it will, if the hubs you deleted were really low-quality "early effort" type hubs. Was there a quality issue with the hubs you deleted? Be a harsh critic on yourself. If your hubs were too short, poorly written, or otherwise substandard, then deleting them was the right thing to do.
If your hubs were high-quality ones, for goodness' sake, put them back up! You score will fluctuate based on all manner of things, from how well-written and useful your hubs are to butterflies flapping their wings in Singapore. I don't fully understand how the hub score is calculated, but I know that the more prolific, the more polished, and the more useful writers get consistently high scores.
