How to buy, sell and transfer squidoo lenses?
Are you new to squidoo.com or a long time member. It doesn't matter you can be a total newbie wanting to get your hands on a new project or a veteran squidooer no matter your experience you may want to start buying or selling your lenses online.
I did a search awhile back and realized that all the resources I found for buying and selling squidoo sites were hard to find. I wanted my next experience to be easier for me. So I decided to make a site devoted to linking buyers and sellers together through this lense and other sites as well.
Some books to get you started on Squidoo.com
Transfering a Lens: STEP 1 - Logging into your account
- Open up your internet browser of choice (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc..)
-Type "Squidoo.com" in the address bar at the top of the browser and press enter.
- Use the mouse to left click on the "Login" word at the top left corner of the screen.
- Type your username and password in the spaces provided. Press "Enter" or click "Submit"
Transferring a Lens: STEP 2 - Find and click the "Transfer a Lens" link
-Click on the "Dashboard" word at the top left corner of the page.
-On the right towards the bottom of the page there is a section labeled "Extra Tools"
-Left click on the word "Transfer a Lens" in that section.
Transferring a Lens: STEP 3 - Enter all the information to transfer
- Select a lens to transfer using the drop down menu.
- Enter the email address that your friend uses on their squidoo account. It needs to be the same one they use to login or it won't work for their account. If they don't have a squidoo account. I would suggest they make one before you send them the lens.
-Use the comment box to relay any information like price, who you are, why you are sending them a lens, etc.. You can also leave it blank if you want.
-Make sure to type the symbols/letter/numbers in the next box. You will find the code to the left and you need to correctly input it in the box.
----If you have trouble with the code click the "Can't read the word? Click here" located below the box and a new code will be displayed.
-Make sure you read the text below the boxes because it explains how selling and royalties work.
*WARNING* When you sell your lens you will no longer receive royalties (money) from it and the rights will be transferred to the new owner.
