Just noticed that the facebook like button is not showing in Firefox, although it shows up fine in Chrome when I looked.

Same here. Facebook like not showing, I'm on IE9. I also randomly checked someone else's Hub, in case there's some protocol that prevents you from 'liking' your own work. But again, no button visible.

      Thanks for the info.
I see the issue in Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Chrome, Safari, and Opera seem to be fine.

I have sent this to our engineering team to be addressed.

It looks like we fixed the issue for Firefox, but Internet Explorer 9 still is having issues.

Anyone with Internet Explorer 9 seeing the Facebook button?

I hope some progress is being made with this issue. It has been about a month now without the 'Like' button.

I have the like question, but nothing happens when I click on it.  Is this being worked on too?  I don't post everything to Facebook just selected hubs.

A release went out today that should fix this issue. Please let us know if you are still not able to see the Facebook Like button on Hubs.

What version of Internet Explorer are you using?

Do you have the same issues when using Firefox 15?

Hi Matthew.  Now you're going to embarass me.  I am still using IE8.0.  I do not have the problem in Mozilla.  I have not used Firefox.  I am still a loyal user of Windows XP so I can't use IE9.0.

It looks like your browser may be partially running in compatibility mode as it is reporting IE6 to some extent.

It also appears you are using a version of XP that Microsoft dropped support for 2+ years ago (SP2).
            http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind … port?os=xp

I would advise upgrading to XP SP3 as it extends the Microsoft support period to 2014 and has many bug and security fixes.

As you cannot upgrade to IE9, I think the current stable version of Firefox (15) is your best bet for a good browser experience under XP.

Hi again.  I checked and I am running SP3 for XP.  I have changed my compatibility settings as well.  I will switch to Firefox for Hubpages but can you tell me something?  Everything was find until a week or so ago.  Were changes made on your end that would have taken away by share options?  They do appear when I write a new hub and click publish, but disappear from the individual hubs afterwards.  I'm just one who likes to understand things.  Sorry.  :-)

I am not aware of a specific change that would have affected you seeing the share buttons.

Your browser is now reporting IE7 and XP SP2.
From the wonky user agent string info being reported by your browser, it makes me think there may be some issue with your browser and/or OS.

Hey, I really appreciate you spending so much time on this with me.  I'll do some digging and tweeking and see what happens.  You have to love this technology with all it's variations, upgrades, service packs, etc., I guess.  lol  Go help someone else.  I'll use firefox or learn to live without those cute little buttons.  Thanks ever so much!
