There seems to be a shortage of traffic-related threads around here. So I thought I would start one. lol

    Looking good.

Traffic is terrible! It took me two hours to get home yesterday! I'm guessing that's not what you meant though big_smile

Traffic was okay, but I prefer Steve Winwood's solo work.

Alas! My weekend traffic drop has started. Was still a heck of a fun week though.

    1. wilderness profile image89
wildernessposted 11 years agoin reply to this

Me too, but I'm still well above any traffic I've seen this year.  Let it level out and I'm happy as can be.  On the plus side, I sold a 65" 3D flat screen yesterday - if it actually ships that'll keep the excitement up for a while!

Yeah, it was a heck of a week, for sure.

I sold a huge TV last January - got a lot of commission - strangely it was returned just after the Superbowl - lost the commission!

On the plus side, I'm selling quite a few game consoles - so hopefully I'll se an uptick soon! November sales are way below last year - I'm hoping people are waiting for the 'fiscal cliff' debate to gain traction before committing to buying stuff - maybe they might all buy presents on December 22nd when they realize the world didn't end!

Interestingly my 'How to get rid of Head Lice' hub is showing double red arrows - must be an outbreak somewhere!!

        1. wilderness profile image89
wildernessposted 11 years agoin reply to this

You should have NOT written that hub on the end of the world; now that people know it will happen they won't buy.  It's all YOUR fault! big_smile

I'm seeing quite an increase in Amazon - I've broken into the 6.5% tier for the first time since last Xmas - and have hopes for more next month.  Oddly enough last Jan. was also very good; people spending their Xmas money, maybe.

OH, I want to sell a TV! My first amazon sale was a big flat screen, and the buyer returned it. Boo.

You guys are worrying me now.  2 Tv's, 2 returns.  This is not the kind of expectation I want to have! sad

I'd better be!  If you two guys have ruined my sale with your naysaying, I'll be upset.  VERY upset. smile

Tell you what - if you lose the sale, I'll go on your hub and by a 68" TV myself - of course, you have to tell my wife!

My QA traffic is back to single digits. The mass executions will probably begin this weekend.

para, they said there was an update last 22nd Nov. so this might be a weekend fluke for you http://www.seroundtable.com/google-pand … 16017.html

      1. paradigmsearch profile image61
paradigmsearchposted 11 years agoin reply to this

Yep, when it happened my QA traffic went to low 30's. Apparently, visitors were not impressed, thus the drop back to single digits. However, you are right. The executions have been stayed for the time being. I will await more data.

You can compare it to the views next weekend again. Until it will stabilize, then another update again, LOL!! :-)

My traffic had completely recovered from last September's massacre. Then it suddenly died within 24 hours, as if Google had totally lost me. I am down to 35 views today.

I've come to the conclusion that there is at least one nasty Google geek who spends his spare time at home hacking and creating malware. He's addicted to being bad. To continue his dopamine rush at work he's included code in Google search. It's timed to torture. Every three months, it de-indexes 90% of articles. I think he should be lynched. hmm

Yes, I have noticed. If I were bright enough I'd liken you to the male version of a vixen, but I'm not, so I wont. And don't say fox, there simply is no comparison.

Can you bring to mind a male species that you can say unequivocally, possesses the same cunning and intelligence as a vixen? I love vixens, small, unpredictable, hunted and so very, very clever.

Being directionally dysfunctional, high volume traffic overwhelms me with anxiety.  I sometimes have to pull off the road and do what I do best in times of panic.......Cry, uncontrollably.
