I was one of the oldies on Squidoo and the change over to HubPages happened at the same time as a major event in my life that required most of my last year so I've been very sloooow in becoming active here. In fact today is the first time I've spent more than an hour rectifying lacks on a bunch of former lenses to bring them up to speed for this venue. And yes, I did swallow some embarrassment over some of my lenses, as if seeing them for the first time, and wondering "did I really write that?" I'm happy to be here, miss regular contact with many others "over there" and look forward to connecting with this outstanding team of writers. Although it may be a bit before I begin contributing regularly I'll be eager to begin again after the big move takes place.
I especially like the clean look of the HUBs and hope to learn from all the experts here.
Leslie
Ah thanks, aesta1, good to see you're here too. So much to learn.
Welcome to HP, Leslie. I hope you have a great time here.
Thanks, I'm slowly making some corrections to the old lenses, but emphasis on the slow.
welcome aboard, i am sure you will like here, very comfy place to spread your words
Hi there, very comforting words. I appreciate them.
Thank you so much. I'm still navigating around here as if in a maze.
Hi, nice to meet you here on Hubpages. I too moved all my lenses here but on a separate account because I had already joined HB on this account. I'm somewhat of a slow writer, hope to read your hubs!
Hi Dave, nice to see your name. I really do feel like a fish out of water.
Hello, fellow ex-Squidooer! I was "4U2C" on Squidoo. Welcome!
Hi there, I recognize your moniker with pleasure.
It is always nice to meet a new writer....new to HP that is. I know this post has been here a while but I'm just seeing it. Welcome aboard!
Your picture looks so familiar, and I just posted here a few days ago for the first time. I feel very new to HP
Welcome, hope you enjoy this wondrous place of encouraging, talented and helpful authors.
I look forward to reading some new articles and welcome the description of the atmosphere.
Thanks! My lenses were transferred over what seems like eons ago. In touching up or deleting them I've found some I'd forgotten about. Whew!
The other day when I posted my first message, below, I lumped everyone together because my tired eye failed to notice the tiny reply link. I looked everywhere but the right place to find it. lol!
Hi RonElFran (I look forward to growing here), Kathleen, DaveOnline (what was your lens moniker?), Uzochukwu Mike (thanks and I'll be taking some time to get my hubs sorted out and learning the ways), peach purple (sounds like a welcome place), Shades-of-truth (thanks for the memories), tillsontitan (you look familiar), tirelesstraveler (I sure look forward to meeting all kinds of writers), aminebombom (thanks, I signed up last Summer but am only now beginning to clean up those missing links and such), snakes mum (nice to hear from you too). Now I've been on for two days out of two, so maybe I'll find some regular time to poke around here.

Welcome Previous Squidoo and New HubPage Writers,I am rather new to HubPages myself, but I wanted to extend a warm greeting to HubPages. My question to all of you is: how do you like it so far? I myself was never a Squidoo writer so I am asking earnestly. Is there something's that we have that...

I just want to say: Welcome to HubPages Squidoo Lensmasters! I hope we all learn a thing or two from you and can become one big writing community here at HubPages. When are the Squidoo accounts supposed to start being transferred to HubPages?
