Hi guys my Adsense has not been approved? I have 5 featured articles and 16 published. What do I need to work on?
Tara
You may just need to wait until you have been on Hubpages for more than a month, and make sure that you have 10 published hubs which are featured hubs. I think all this means it that 10 of your published hubs are listed as "High quality." You can check this under the "My Account" section when you sign in. Additionally, the length of your high quality hubs should be 1,000 words or more, and have 2 or more pictures. I have included a link below for the Adsense rules. Also, I recommend clicking on the boxes which say Google or Adsense can send you emails. :-) . From your profile it appears you have only been a member for 10 days. I would just increase the amount of featured hubs in your portfolio and wait until you are a member for about 5 weeks and you should be all set.

Articles which are not "Featured" are invisible to Google, so only the Featured ones count when you apply to Adsense.
You need to have been a member for at least a month, and have at least 15 Featured Hubs (preferably 20) before you apply.
Hey guys this is what Adsense replied with :
nsufficient content: To be approved for AdSense and show relevant ads on your site, your pages need to have enough text on them for our specialists to review and for our crawler to be able to determine what your pages are about.
To resolve this issue, please work through the following suggestions:
Make sure that your pages have sufficient text - websites that contain mostly images, videos or Flash animations will not be approved.
Your content should contain complete sentences and paragraphs, not only headlines.
Ensure that your website is fully built and launched before you apply for AdSense - do not apply while your site’s still in a beta or “under construction” phase or only consists of a website template.
Place the ad code on a live page of your website. It does not have to be the main page, but test pages that are empty except for the AdSense ad code will not be approved.
Provide a clear navigation system for your visitors so that they can easily find all of the sections and pages of your website.
If you’d like to monetize YouTube videos, please apply for the YouTube monetization program. Note that blogs and websites that contain only videos will not be approved.
Is it that I need to increase my word count? Mine are usually 700 words
Did you read my answer? Ten Hubs is insufficient content. You need at least 15 Hubs, and they must all have Featured status (because Google doesn't count the UnFeatured ones).
Yes but what is the code they are talking about when they say - place ad code on active page to be approved?
One thing to be aware of with all third-party sites - Amazon, Adsense etc - is that their instructions are always written assuming you have your own blog, where you have access to the "back end" of the site. On HubPages you don't have that access, so HubPages have had to program special access. That means you should always read HubPages' instructions on how to add Adsense, Amazon etc.
All you do on HubPages is add your Adsense ID to your account once you're approved. Once you've done that, HubPages will place your ad code on your Hubs automatically.
I am getting very frustrated. I've been rejected by Adsense . . . 3 times.
To resolve this issue, please work through the following suggestions:
Make sure that your pages have sufficient text - websites that contain mostly images, videos or Flash animations will not be approved. I have 15 featured hubs, all with at least 1,500 words, some as many as 2,500 words. There are some images and sometimes videos but not an overabundance, and no flash animations.
Your content should contain complete sentences and paragraphs, not only headlines. They do.
Ensure that your website is fully built and launched before you apply for AdSense - do not apply while your site’s still in a beta or “under construction” phase or only consists of a website template. Obviously.
Place the ad code on a live page of your website. It does not have to be the main page, but test pages that are empty except for the AdSense ad code will not be approved. I'm assuming HubPages does that.
Provide a clear navigation system for your visitors so that they can easily find all of the sections and pages of your website. It's all one article, doesn't need navigation.
If you’d like to monetize YouTube videos, please apply for the YouTube monetization program. Note that blogs and websites that contain only videos will not be approved. Not relevant to me.
Please help. I've spent a lot of time on this and I would hate to think it's all been a waste. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
You joined only 4 weeks ago so you applied for Adsense too soon. You should have at least 10 hubs for, at the very least, a month before applying. I think it would be a good idea to leave it for a few weeks before trying again.
I see from your profile that your account has only been online for 4 weeks. It needs to be on for over a month, so you will need to wait at least 5 weeks if a US person, and longer if you are from certain countries. Additionally, so long as each article which constitute minimum of 10 featured has 1,000+ words, at least 2 images, and one of the other category you should be approved in a couple weeks. Please also note that per the instructions, the more you attempt to sign up for adsense prior to meeting the criteria (and you have not met the time criteria as of now) that it could affect your chances of being accepted later.
Hi Sarah Jewel,
It's really tough to write articles with 2500 words. Great job. I received Google AdSense Approval within a month of signup, though it, sometimes, required my almost whole day to write content of nearly 4000 words. But I need to earn, so I have to do it.
After Google AdSense, I cut short few of the hubs because it was really too much and I was not getting much traffic. At last, who will read such a long Hub?
I have written a Hub for the same "How I received Google AdSense Approval for my HubPages account within a Month". I hope it will help you too.
All the best.
There is absolutely NO need to write Hubs that are 2,500 words long!
The ideal length for a Hub is around 800 to1,500 words long. When Adsense says "insufficient content", they don't mean the number of words in each Hub: they mean you don't have enough Hubs.
One thing that most people miss is that your first Hub must be at least one month old.
I am a bit worried when you say you got approval within a month, and yet you are based in India. Google's rules state that Indian applicants must wait 6 months. Is it possible they don't realise you're in India? If so, then you may be in trouble because when they find out, they will take your account away and may ban you from getting another one.
Or did you have a website before?
I am not sure if they strictly consider the duration of 6 months because I have seen some Indian bloggers receiving approval within 3-4 months. Also, when applying I did mention my complete location and there is no chance that they would not realize it. At last it's GOOGLE.
Moreover, I am not sure if it is written any where in the HubPages help that your Hub needs to be a month old, but yes they do say to publish 10 Hubs before applying.

I have published 21 featured hubs. And then I applied for Google AdSense. But it did not approve my account saying "Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into AdSense at this time. We did not approve your...

Let me preface this by stating I am not trying to be mean or a troll. In fact, I avoid the forums because I don't want to get involved. But with so many posts about the topics I'm about to discuss, I wanted to put in my two cents and to offer a reality check to old and new hubbers...

In someone's opinion, what are some of the considerations hubpages make before giving out Google AdSense?
by catgypsy 10 years ago
I like my Hubs (and my websites) to look clean and be simple and uncluttered. I just think it looks better and frankly, more professional. My problem then is that every time I write a new hub, i get the email saying it could be featured if I would make some changes. These changes would make my hub...

Hello there,So I just started hubbing, but I've gotten out of the bootcamp phase. I applied for Google Adsense and was disapproved - twice. I read all the possible problems that I could fix that was sent to my e-mail, but my articles seem to abide by all of them. What do I do? Concerned,W.A

I just published my 50th hub, and as all my hubs are featured, I received my 50th Featured Hub accolade. In the e-mail notifying me of this, I also read that I was in the "elite" with only 1 percent of Hubbers earning that accolade. I was rather surprised that only 1 percent...
