  I have the week off My son is on his way down to the shore to spend the weekend. NJ is going to have their first snow tomorrow Here at the shore nothing coming BUT where Linda's sister live in PA, they are forcasted for 6+
  
  We need to go and spend time with Klara at least till spring.

Good night Cara, Mark, Denise... and all others MIA.
Moving has been postponed to Thursday to allow the owners to clean and paint. WHATEVER! I don't see how that should take two days considering they are only painting a wall.
All other things are going well. I'm tired and can't decide which plants to take with me. I'm going to miss my tortoise too but I've found him a nice home with other tortoises and turtles. (sigh) It's hard to change lifestyles after so many years but I think the salt water will be good for us.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Over 2 MILLION people without power here of the East Coast. Still snow and may get 1 foot +. Is this October or January?

  That's awful, Mark. We are under flood watch as we usually are whenever it rains. Packing still. Can't wait for Thursday to come so we can go! I'm trying to help my 90yr old piano teacher/landlady (is that the right term for female landlord?) To put the house for rent in the market and to get the garage door replaced even though she said some very mean things to me out of desperation. Her kids want to inherit the properties but don't want to help her with the maintenance and she wanted me to pay for november even though I won't live here. I'm glad I'm leaving for good.

  Hey SunShine, yeah it is horrible here. Cold Windy and NJ under a State of Emergency. Tonight the roads will freeze and so many trees down. On the Upside for me, the Ocean warmth is keeping here t the shore just rain and wind. Where I used to live West NJ is getting hammered.
  
  NOW as for you and your ,move. I can't believe or I should really say I do believe these children want to reep the profits of the old lady Piano teacher but don't want to help her. That is aweful. They want everything and not do anything for it.
  
  I bet you can't wait to get out of there Klara and I don't blame you. You shouldn't have to pay for November. Did you give a deposit when you first moved in and how much notice did you give her when you said you were moving.

  I've lived here for 11 years and even though she left the rent at a lower price we spent a lot on maintenance and repair. I told her when I went to pay October and I didn't ask for the deposit money because I figured after 11 years it would be ridiculous. But I can't pay for the big tickets such as the garage door, the porch tiles, and damaged floor. And I got tired of hearing how they are cutting us a deal. They're not. Not considering we've had to spend $200 every month to get repairs done. So its time to go.

  Good Morning Klara:) the sun is out bright today. How about down south. Is it nice for you too? Thats a long time you lived there and they should appreciate all you have done and let it be so you can move on to a better life and smell that salt air.
  
  Sometimes or should I say many times people tend to use people and when it comes to things like moving they are upset because they are losing a great tenant snd want to make it misersble for them.
  
  I have to go to my self storage with Lin and find her winter boots That sounds like fun I told her if we lived in Florida in the Winter you wouldn't need Winter Boots

  @ Beth: Midnight shift sucks and now they are mandating four days / wk twice a month. I can barely handle three and commute back and forth; living in two places and keeping my nephew's appointments straight. Whew I have no clue how I will handle four nights in a row.

  11/11/11 Everytime I glance at a clock of any sort, watch etc it either says 11:11 am or pm or it says 1:11. I then make a wish at least that what people say to do. I think It works because I wished many times on those numbers and got my dream to a reality'

My daughter is getting married in May of this year so I guess if anything happens it will be next winter for the 6 months in Florida and 6 at the shore here.

  Hahahaha Those fourth graders knock on my door EVERY day!!! LOL That's ok, yesterday I took away a quality piece of "literature" that a student was passing around my class. What was it you ask?? A "scared sexy" advertisement for a local strip club event on Halloween. Yep, that's how we roll around here!!!!

  Denise I hope your cough get better. I always use Dayquill or NiteQuill that stop the cough in its tracks. You can call me anytime Denise I have phone on all the time and if I happen to be with a family and don't answer leave a message and I will call you. further more I feel bad that I haven't called you like I said I would. i am sorry. Between work and my horrible ride to and from and then I hop right on the PC to write while Linda watches the boob tube It really isn't far to her but she understands I think.

Hey y'all! Thanks for all the good wishes! We're still unpacking but it's starting to look nice already. The location is great and I LOVE that pedestrian bridge that you can see in the picture. There are neighbors fishing from it all day long. It's beautiful! I should take a picture from it so that you can see the view from that perspective. We are truly blessed! The apartment is very comfortable and the building is very quiet.
I wish I could have a house-warming party for you guys! You guys are awesome!!!

Good morning you guys! The time changed already and I don't get why I end up waking up at 8am on a Sunday morning!
I worked worked worked to get to the sweeping and mopping before going to bed and DID IT! It looks great even though our art work is not in place yet and I'm still in need of finding the right spot for a few boxes.
Denise, thanks for the blessing. I really believe this is a blessing that was in store for us. I had always dreamed of having white tiles and white walls and white furniture, with some accents in refreshing beachy colors. Over the years we got the furniture in IKEA in white and light wood colors, but now that we finally have the right floor it looks GREAT.
Mark, I know what you mean. There is nothing like living close to the water. I get it now!
I will send pics soon, once we have the walls decorated with artwork and my plants are in place. HAVE A WONDERFUL SUNDAY!!!

  Well Ray, since HP ads started I am up to only $43.00 with that and as far as traffic, between HP and my blog somewhere around 100 veiws per day which is nothing. My titles I use once in the content they keywords. I have been writing on my blog everynight instead of HP to see if I get any traffic. The theme I had last week was plan and simple but my eBook and followers and subscribe were not there .Once I set that simple text up I got more veiws right away and now I changed it to what you saw yesterday and the views declined . I need to set up ref tracker too which I started reading how to do it but never finished. If you have any ideas please let me know. I also link from the blog to Hp and HP to blog but if no one clicks the links nor adsence

  I envy your commitment, Mark. I write once a year! I need to get settled a bit, find some balance in my routine. I tend to overdo things sometime.
  Yes, I got everything organized and cleaned but the last tenant used to smoke and it's going to take soke time to get that nicotine smell out of the walls. Little by little... I just need to mop the floor every three days and light up candles to get that smell out for good.
  I'm sitting down looking out the balcony. Everyday is a nature show! I love it!

  Had a great teacher moment today. We went to the high school for a field trip to see a play. One of the lead actors was a student of mine about 7 years ago. She was a struggling reader as she entered my fifth grade class and made the most progress in one year that I have ever had a kid make. She is a senior and going to college next year majoring in Japanese and Criminal Justice. Ahhh...great teacher moment!
