Miss all of you because I am so busy at work and when I get home I am beat.
Just ate my dinner at 10pm and now getting a shower and hitting the sack although I will be up at 1am wide a wake but all of you are sleeping so I have no one to talk to LOL
Love all of you girls and hopefully when I am off Tuesday and Wednesday we can all touch base again. I haven't even replied to a whole bunch of comments and I feel so bad about that, but I will get to them. Boat is still being worked on at the marina. Hate to see what that will cost me
1200 more views and I will hit the 100,000 mark which really means nothing except lots of people read my stuff

It has poured so hard and over Atlantic County have no electric. 160,000 people and we sold ever generator today as well as Lowes, Home Depot etc. The power may get restored by the 4th of July. Thank God I live in Ocean County

Hope everyone is fine -- especially those of you in caught in the power outage and storms. Be safe!
Let's see.... notmuch time.... I'm still moving. The second storey and basement are completely emptied, washed, scrubbed and shiny. I'm finishing off the main floor and garage today. Final walkthrough by the buyers is tomorrow at noon. 
A friend offered help... she decided to help me clean my fridge without my knowledge. Three hours later, I ask for the fridge items to take to the next fridge: she hands me one cooler, one grocery bag. That's it. I ask her if she's missing any bags -- I had a whole freezer full of medicinal herbs and cooking ingredients that do not originate where I am. She shrugs her shoulders and says: I threw it out because I didn't know what it was and it looked half opened. =
I could have (and still can) throttle her scrawny li'l neck!! (yea, not like me but she didn't even so much as ask me if I wanted to keep or throw it out!!) And now, it's too late to retrieve it all -- garbage dump!!! UGH!!!
Oh well, back to the mundain task of moving..... Oh, and just to make things really fun -- my kid's dad took my van to pull the trailer and comes back with it all scratched up. He took it past evergreens, well, THROUGH, evergreens to get to the rear of the building. >.< Then, says, oh, look, your van isn't scratched. It's just dirt. >.< So much for my spanking new van!!!

Still running on generator for almost 1 and half weeks. Bad storm blew out our main breakers and have to have them custom made

Beautiful!! I wish I could go with you!!! There's been some problems with my move. The house I was moving into has a HUGE water problem in the basement that the owners tried to cover up. Now, I am stuck in this "temporary" place until it's fixed. Meantime, all of our clothes, summer things, and important things are sitting in the new house's garage. yes. I think I will join you in Spain. I could use some distraction..... dark hair, soft eyes, sense of humour, good looks, kind heart.....
@ Mark -- oh Mark!! That's aweful about the motor. Have it fixed or look for a second hand one in the trades papers. Sometimes, there are farmers (older fellows) who know how to fix all kinds of motors for a song. I don't know about down there, but up here, there's a farmer here who fixes everything for $30. And, he guarantees his work -- and the fixes make everything like brand new!! She'll be skimming across the water before you know it. xox

Klara-Muchas gracias, mi amiga. I envy you your travels to Spain. It has been the one place I have dreamed of visiting since I was 18 yrs old (40 yrs now). I love the language, the flamenco dancing, the colors, haha, the energy!! the coastline, the sound of the names of the city, etc etc So...I will be eagerly watching for your hubs on the subjects you've mentioned.

Yes, we had water in the basement which has delayed our transition into the new place. I'm half in and half out of the new place -- kinda stuck in a temporary spot. We're living with two days' of clothing and out of our knapsacks. At least we have our toothbrushes and toothpaste.

slap my hands for being so slow.... but I have a good reason. Not a happy one, but a legitimate one. I'm at the airport flying out west to see my mom and dad. My mom had an accident and I am going to work with the doctors to settle what needs to be done. It's bad enough with the move, and now flying out in a rush. The plane has a mechanical problem and has been delayed two hours now. Oh, they just announced that there will be another two hour delay. -.- BUT, we get a new plane instead of the busted one. ha ha ha always a silver lining!!
What's this about you swelling up?!? You must keep hydrated!! Whether it's allergies or not, drinking at least 5 litres of water every day will help keep the allergies at bay (no nettie pot required... just a close bathroom) and keep you more than hydrated. My goodness, if your hands are swelling up and you are drinking water, then that means your body isn't handling the toxins at all. Only water will help with this. You'll feel much better too.

Klara-sorry to hear about your allergy reaction. Listen: the SUN can cause that reaction-it is like a sun poisoning-too much, skin turns red but is different from sunburn. My son in law had it in FL recently and Cara might have experienced it when we sunbathed too long on the Italian riviera one spring.
Drink lots of AGUA--NOT booze, BTW I did send you an email already via Hubpages.

Oh--here is a good one I'd like to share about the crazy things I do: I went to work on Thursday, reluctantly, as usual, and left my uniforms behind at my home in town. I got to the city where I rent a room and realized all of my favorite uniforms were NOT packed. meaning I had to make do with what was left in the city. Well...that isn't the worse of it.
I got to work earlier than usual and could not find my name listed on the unit I would be assigned to and a sense of horror swept over me...had I gotten my work days mixed up? Just as I was calling the office to inquire about it the assistant manager walked into the room and began to beam happily.
"Oh, Denise! This is great-we had a call out and we need someone to take his place! I'm so glad you showed up to work"
I would have kicked myself in the butt except my legs were too short to reach, So, I stayed, (of course) and worked on my night off! Instead of two shifts I am doing 3 this w/e. At least I will be off on Sunday evening.

What's the weather like in your 'neck of the woods'? We've had thunderstorms, cloudy skies and rain for the past 3 days, off and on. It is currently ready to storm again and I am hoping it blows out of the area by Sunday on my day off.
