With the google adsense affiliate, is the revenue cost per click or cost per 1000 impressions?
It depends on which the advertiser chose, as I understand it. When someone advertises with AdWords, they can select whether they want to pay per click or per 1,000 impressions, and then that carries over to how affiliates are paid when those ads are shown. I know I get both; there has been a couple of times that I'll look at my earnings for the day, and once or twice there's been a little bit there without any clicks.
wychic is correct and Anita is incorrect.
"Advertisers may bid on a cost per impression (CPM) or cost per click (CPC) basis ..."
