Do I need the Google AdSense "statement of ownership" on my HubPages?
When I first signed up for Google AdSense, the fine print told me I needed to have the following text on my website: "This post confirms my ownership of the site and that this site adheres to Google AdSense program policies and Terms and Conditions." Do I really need this? I don't see it on any of the other profile pages?
No, you don't need this unless you're applying from your own website or blog. This is to prevent fraud people from getting an AdSense account by using other's domain name and websites. So, when you're applying to AdSense, apply through HubPages, and if you're applying from a blogger blog, apply by going to the Monetize Tab in the blogger. And if you don't have a Blogger blog (maybe Wordpress on your custom domain), make sure that the WHOIS information on your domain name matches the name you're applying the AdSense account with.
All the best!
