I have had some criticism of a few of my hubs. I think it was helpful though. We all miss some things that others may catch, or think something makes since, while someone else may not understand it at all. I think even the most mean spirited criticism can be constructive if you take it in the right way.

I have received criticism, but mine is usually for my choice of topics. I like to write things that get reactions. People have apposing views to certain topics and it's fun to write hubs that highlight one side of it. That way you get a discussion going in the comments and it helps to come with future hubs.

Other than that, small suggestions being made or corrections are always welcomed. If you don't know that something is wrong or that the way something is worded it doesn't make sense, you may get a false sense perfection. Most people who criticize do it to help you out, not poke fun or anything like that.

Yes, I have.  I see it as a way to improve my hub and I appreciate the reader's honest feedback .  I would make necessary changes if I agree with the criticism.  Otherwise, I would still respect other people's point of view.

Criticism not really but difference of opinion. As long as it is constructive then it's acceptable I think. It's still often hard to take though.

I had a little bit of criticism about some info that I'd included in a hub; after initially feeling anger at the criticising tone. I chose to do a little more research and found that they were right, so I edited the hub. Fortunately, I've only ever had constructive criticism.

I have received some criticism on my Hubs.

On "The Truth about Botox - Cosmetic Injections." ~ I told the person to face facts but in a polite way."

On "Pro Ana - New Anorexic Cult (Explicit!)" ~ I get a few on this Hub, which has 39,000 views, so not surprised. As most are Teens, I reply in an encouraging way because they can't see the full picture and for some, I just delete the comments.

Most of my Hubs touch a Chord in people's hearts, 'cos I write from the heart and it doesn't bother me. Nice Question. :-)

I just got some today... a guy commented "I have never seen so many stupid comments in my life" under one of my Hubs. I'm not sure how to take that. I am not even sure what comments he was referring to. Oh Trolls, how you puzzle me...

I get a few.  The mean spirited ones, I just deny and then delete forever.  Overkill huh?   They say that any comment is good because it shows that..

    1) the viewer must have read our hub - we earn from impressions, so it's a win.

    2) the viewer took time to say "This is a piece of chit!" or something to that effect - comments, even negative chitty ones, give our hubs a little boost.  Comments whether we like it or not, update our hubs as far as seach bots are concerned.

So, if it is an old forgotten hub, and if the comment is not too mean, I just let it go.    Free update for my hub.  I win!

yes i have. i wrote a hub about drug addiction being a mental issue and one guy was pissed at me. he insulted me which i thought was kind of funny since he seemed like a moron anyway. i love criticism because it shows that at least people have an opinion.
