What's your criteria for following a Hubber on hub pages?
Do you really read the hubs before following a Hubber or do you follow just because he or she follows you?
I always read at least one hub before I follow. I look at their list and find whichever one fits into the things I like and read it. If they do not write about anything I like I do not follow them. I have several followers who are great writers but do not write about things I care to read so I don't follow them. It would be unfair for them if I did follow because the whole point of following is to read their work. If I am not going to read it then basicly following them is like a lie. JMO
Don't you think most hubbers follow only who follows them? For instance the people who are following me started following me only after I started following them, just because I liked few of their hubs!
The majority of my followers I had no contact with prior to them following me. I have maybe less than 20 that I followed first. The people I follow first are people I run across while searching a certain topic.
I read a couple of hubs and then read their profile to see what kind of articles they like to write. There are some people that I only read sometimes and others that I really enjoy following and reading their material. I also try to read the most recently published hubs just to see new people and new hubs.

I am sure that is true for some, but for me I read what I like not necessarily who follows me. It would be silly to try and keep up with people just because they follow me. I would hope the people who follow me do so because they like what they read.
I only follow a hubber if I enjoy reading their hubs. I will read a few and comment on some and then follow them normally. When I first started I only followed those that followed me but now I like to venture out on my own There are so many talented people on Hub Pages with so much informaiton!!! It's hard to follow everyone.

I take a quick look over the person's Hubs and if they write about stuff that's up my alley, I'll follow them. If not, I don't. There's no point in clogging up my news feed with Hubs I'm never going to read.

I've started to become more selective with you I followed and I even unfollowed a few. It was nothing personal, it was just a means of keeping things uncluttered. When I get a new follower, I'll make a point of checking out their profile and a couple of their hubs. If their content interest me I follow them. If it doesn't I don't.

I am not sure I would say most. There are a number that I follow that don't follow me. Also there are a number that follow me that I don't follow. But it probably depends on the individual and their approach to following.
I normally follow hubbers who write on topics that interest me. Sometimes I find some hubbers writing on very interesting topics other than those normally interest me. I follow both these kinds.

Do any of you have people following you, but they have not writen any hubs, yet these people...have some 5-50 people following them? And, do you think that it is possible that these people may copy hubs and try to pass them on as their own?

I've been here almost 3 yrs and would like an honest evaluation of some of my hubs. I'm concerned about my low hubscore. I continually study hubs at the learning center, participate in forums, comment on hubs, re-title and revise hubs, and have reached over 300,000 page views. I...

I often receive notification of new followers. Many are scammers, but some are legitimate. My question is: How do new (or even not so new) Hubbers find us? And why do they choose to follow? Some who follow me don't have articles I would normally read. So, why (or are) they reading mine?With...

Not complaining but I don't understand hub. In an attempt to get involved, I started following a lot of Hubbers. Many of them followed me back and I am seeing a dramatic increase in viewing traffic for my hubs. I guess Hub didn't like this since they took my score from 89 to currently 78 and...

What makes you choose to follow another hubber?I have come across quite a few members on here who are following hundreds of other hubbers. I can only speak for myself, but I barely have enough time to write my own hubs, let alone time to read every hub that is published by all of the people that I...
