How Many Tags do you typically use?
I tend to add 10-15 tags to each hub. I was wondering if I should use more?
I tend to use 2-5 tags. There will be occasions when I'll use about 7-8, but that's pretty much my cut off limit. That may be why Google doesn't love me as much as some others.
I use very few and only the most important keywords. Using too many can be considered spammy and it's a fine line. I typically use no more than 5 or so for shorter hubs and for more detailed hubs with more information I may go as high as 10 at the absolute highest end.
I was curious as to how the search engine works. So, if I had a hub about building a birdhouse, I'd use, "Birdhouse, How to Build a Birdhouse, Building a birdhouse" etc. I use multiple variations of how to phrase it, hoping I'm not doing it wrong.
that's how you do it - you might also include a tag or two for like "tutorial" or "DIY project" things like that

Is there any limit of using tags in a hub? Would it have any effect on the rating or score for use of more tags? I am just curious to know!

Just wondering if there is a "rule of thumb" on how many tags are most effective in a hub, based from your experience? Thanks!
