How do I submit my hubs or hubpage profile to search engines to get more traffic?
http://support.google.com/webmasters/bi … wer=100782 How do I submit my page to search engines to get more traffic? Does the link attached explain what I should do and what does it all mean in layman's terms?
Brett Tesol wrote a hub on this with easy-to-follow instructions. All you do is go the sites and submit your URL. That's how easy it is.
Thanks for responding olog, Okay, so if I wanted to submit my URL to yahoo, I just go to www.yahoo.com and put it in a search???
You can write 'submit url to google' and then follow the simple instructions. Or 'submit url to bing' and do the same. It's a simple process. After that you can ping the url, which is the equivalent of telling everyone in a loud voice that your article is out and worth a visit! Write googleping and then copy your url and hubname into the right boxes.
Good luck.
Thank you for the tip I learned something new.
I went to Brett's hubpage as Olog suggested and it was really easy to follow his suggested and now I just pinged my profile page and that was also easy. Both of you are awesome. I have been wanting to do this for a while but couldn't figure it out.
HoneyBB Yahoo & Bing not provides you submit your url directly, For yahoo & bing both share same webmaster tool i.e bing. For submission in bing we have to verify the URL. And it is not possible to verify hubpage in google & bing webmaster tools.
But you have to submit website in other search engine, they have a option to submit your URL without verification.
I think if you have written most informative and content rich hubpages, Google and other major search engines will index them within one or two weeks. The traffic from Google and Yahoo will be always desirable as there is a chance to get more number of clicks in AdSense. So, it's not necessary to submit our Hubs to search engines. And you can also check out by entering your Hub title in Google search engine whether it has been indexed or not.

I am experiencing that there is a very small traffic to my Hubs from Hubapages. It shows just 2 to 4 pages per day. On the other hand, the traffic sent from search engines is very high. Have you experiencing same thing? Can anybody tell me how to get traffic from Hubpages to my Hubs?

Now, not before, when you place a link, you have a choice to click rel=nofollow so that search engines ignore it. So in future hubs that you write or if you want to go back and edit, do not check this box for links to your own hubs. Also do not do this for links where you want to help the site. But...

Just wondering if it is spamming to submit your hubs to the same social networking sites more than once? For example, if you wait a week or so between and you are trying to get your hub more traffic can you submit it again to Twitter or Facebook? Or is this a bad idea. Also if so then how long...

My Hubs get very little traffic and earn very little. Even adding my Hubs to Network Sites, did nothing. I am not that knowledgeable about how to increase traffic. I have posted them on Pinterest and Flipboard, with little to no activity.I was wondering if it helps to add recipe intros and...
